Cinema for Peace Foundation - Screening im ACUD

Cinema for Peace Foundation presents "Watchers of the Sky"

"Why is the killing of a million a lesser crime than the killing of an individual?" (Raphael Lemkin *1900 Russia - ” 1959 New York)

Watchers of the Sky
by Edet Belzberg, Amelia Green-Dove and Kerry Propper.

The Film interweaves four stories of remarkable courage, compassion, and determination, while setting out to uncover the forgotten life of Raphael Lemkin – the man who created the term “genocide,” and believed that the law could protect the world against mass atrocities. Inspired by Samantha Power’s Pulitzer Prize-winning book, A Problem From Hell, WATCHERS OF THE SKY takes you on a provocative journey from Nuremberg to The Hague, from Bosnia to Darfur, from criminality to justice, and from apathy to action.
