The Fountainhead® Tanz Théí¢tre produces and directs the Black International Cinema Berlin each year in Berlin. The Black International Cinema Berlin (BICB) is an interdisciplinary, intercultural film/video festival, that is going to to be held in May 2018.

Submissions Now Open for the 8th BAFTA-Recognised Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2018.

ASFF accepts submissions from across 11 genres including: Advertising, Animation, Artists’ Film, Comedy, Dance, Documentary, Drama, Experimental, Fashion, Music Video or Thriller. Running time 30 minutes.

New to 2018, we open our minds to longer-form stories, accepting submissions in Narrative and Documentary Feature Films, over 60 minutes. In addition, we're inviting filmmakers to submit Virtual and Augmented Reality projects, to explore game changing forms of storytelling, for fully immersive experiences.

Deutsch-Polnischer Filmfonds unterstützt weiterhin die Entwicklung und Produktion von neuen Projekten. Deutschland und Polen teilen ein gemeinsames filmkulturelles Erbe. Mit dem Deutsch-Polnischen Filmfonds (DPFF) setzen sich die FFA – Filmförderungsanstalt, die beiden regionalen deutschen Filmförderungen MDM (Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung) und Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg in Partnerschaft mit dem Polnischen Filminstitut für eine verstärkte Kooperation zwischen polnischen und deutschen Produzenten ein.

Bereits vor einem Jahr hat die FFA – Filmförderungsanstalt ein deutliches Bekenntnis zur Stärkung deutsch-polnischer Koproduktionen bekundet und als neuer Partner die Fördermittel erhöht. Damit hat sich das Fördervolumen von jährlich 300.000 Euro auf 500.000 Euro erhöht. Zudem gelten die Antragsvoraussetzungen für die Projektentwicklung nunmehr bundesweit.

Deadline des nächsten Einreichtermins für Anträge auf Entwicklungs- oder Produktionsförderung für deutsch-polnische Filmvorhaben ist der 15. Dezember 2017.


Antragsformulare und weitere Informationen stehen auf den Seiten des Medienboard, der FFA, der Mitteldeutschen Medienförderung und des Polnischen Filminstituts zur Verfügung. Entscheidung: ab Mitte Februar 2018
